Church Founding

~November 5, 1955 - Church Established (it would still be several months before members would have a building of their own)

~May 17, 1957 - Church Officially Established (organizational board of the Eastern Conference met with the Mission and created Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church)

~October 23, 1961 - Ground-breaking Ceremony

What We Believe

The Bible is a God-inspired product of Holy Spirit inspired men and is Truth without error. (2 Peter 1: 19-21)
In One True and Living God. That is the Unity of the Godhead, are three personal distinctions; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. (1 John 5: 20)
On Faith in the Finished Work of Lord Jesus Christ, as the only condition of Salvation from sin, and that this Salvation is wholly by Grace. (Romans 10: 9-13)

We are an active church, engaged in discipleship through training, teaching, and fostering spiritual growth through prayer and good strong biblical teachings. We have a body of members empowered to serve in the ministry to reach others to Christ. Emmanuel's church family has a bond of friendship with a desire to encourage others in their daily walk with Jesus Christ.
